We we are currently making our second design of a gold leaf crown, after our first design, the children reflected and understood they could adapt it to make them more life like. We are also exploring magnets, you can some of Chestnut class exploring two experiments here.

We we managed to get our jewel jar filled for the first time this week!!!!!!

As a result we went for a lovely, energetic trip down to the park…we had so much fun!!

Chestnut class began the week by showing Mr Butterworth what they know about subtraction using column method. This gave Mr Butterworth an opportunity to challenge those that were confident and support those that lacked confidence in this area of maths.
