Today, we have been learning about the importance of body positioning in tennis and developing our confidence when hitting or receiving the ball. To do this successfully, the children used larger balls and will eventually progress onto tennis balls, as their confidence increases. Some children enjoyed challenging themselves by making their courts smaller.
In order to develop our understanding of symmetrical and asymmetrical shapes, we worked practically with cut out shapes. We thoroughly enjoyed folding and discovering lines of symmetry for ourselves!
This week, have been developing our painting skills by creating different tones and tints of blue. We will utilise these colours when creating individualised Greek tiles.
We had the BEST day with Dave, improving our skipping and fitness levels.
