During RE Week, we explored the bible and why it is important to Christians. We focused on the stories of The Creation and The Fall, discussing their teachings and life lessons. Here is some published writing that we are very proud to share!

Forest School – how can we encourage wildlife into an area?
After discussing how bird feeders could encourage a variety of birds into our school grounds, we decided to create our own! As you can see by the children’s faces, they had lots of fun!
World Health Day
During World Health Day, we had a great time learning how to overcome everyday challenges through art and drama.
Identifying Common Birds
In Forest School, we explored and identified birds that we might find in our local area. The children loved discussing their features and sharing their experiences of different birds.
Marine Conservation Workshop 💙
This morning, Chestnut Class thoroughly enjoyed a visit from Matt, who works for the Marine Conservation Society. He taught us about different seals, how they are adapted to living in the ocean and his role in rescuing seals from plastic pollution.
Big Problem – Ordering, Comparing and Rounding
It was great to see the children confidently applying their recent maths learning in order to solve a real life ‘Big Problem’.
